Will this work with my car?
We have very good support with over 90% of vehicles with factory-installed CarPlay. See the list of known supported vehicles and head-units here!
What systems are supported?
re-STREAM C&A supports both Android Auto & CarPlay (Android & iOS).
Are there any import duties, customs fees or tax/VAT to pay?
Orders are sent from Sweden (EU), no additional VAT/tax is added to deliveries within EU. There may be import duties or taxes to pay for deliveries outside EU.
Do I need a third party app to connect like other wireless solutions?
No, re-STREAM works with the native wireless CarPlay function in your phone. No additional apps are required.
How do I connect the adapter to my car?
You will only need to complete pairing process once as your phone will automatically connect each time thereafter.
1) Turn on Bluetooth and WiFi modes on your iPhone. Ensure you temporarily disconnect from any existing Bluetooth or WiFi networks such as your car Bluetooth or home WiFi.
2) Plug the re-STREAM C&A adapter into the CarPlay USB port in your vehicle, unit will display a red light.
3) Wait for your vehicle’s screen to display the setup prompt.
4) Click the search button, select the phone you want to pair with or connect via the bluetooth device displayed on your iPhone.
6) Select “Pair” on your iPhone when the notification appears.
How do I update re-STREAM C&A?
We have regular software updates for your re-STREAM C&A device to improve vehicle support and new features.
To update please follow instructions in the manual.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Most issues can be resolved by temporarily disconnecting from any WiFi/bluetooth devices and updating everything to the latest software versions:
– Your iPhone iOS version (Settings > General > Software Update).
– The re-STREAM C&A software (using the instructions above).
– If possible, your vehicle’s infotainment system software.
